Christmas..a little late.

My oh my how I loved Christmas this year. Pierce and Cash were so excited about EVERYTHING!! They had asked for power wheels for months...and repeated it to santa the THREE times they ran up to sit on his lap at three different malls:)- needless to say we were so thrilled to see their faces on christmas morning- there is nothing better. Santa came to Nana's house again this year for the Christmas eve dinner- once again (and yes, these pictures are their faces when he walked through the door), their faces just say it all. They had the little nativity- Pierce and Cash got to be shepherds- and you would have thought it was the first time my dad had ever read the scripture story:) - seriously- he kept stumbling over himself- it was classic. And as is tradition as well, we got the boys pajamas for christmas eve night- and this year we actually got ourselves some as well- we went up and changed and surprised them...i was batman and mauri was superman. They were pretty excited. They ask me every night to wear the batman ones...

I truly feel so blessed to have my little family. I love these guys more than I could ever say- they make me smile and laugh everyday. I look forward to everything so much more because I have them to share it with. I know I will miss them at this age...

almost christmas

Well actually some of them are from christmas we just have to split them up. Dont ask me what all of them are doing with that white sheet though...they find the wierdest things to play. Lex is getting so old- and actually pretty big, too. He beats up on the other two like you wouldn't believe- You will no longer hear me say 'poor lex'- he just walks up and hits the other two for no reason- and if its not with his bare hands its with a sword or a bat or anything else thats lying around. Oh- and don't ask what that giant spot is on his forehead...wasn't a zit- but we were glad it showed up just in time for christmas day!!:)

Until next season....

And I can't wait for it! I love watching them play. They are both ready for next time.. And yes, that is a spiderman costume under cash's uniform.

Pierce's coach was actually a soccer player from south africa- good training starts early!

Enthusiasm

Rarely do any of my angels ever slow down long enough to...well they never slow down. I still klike to find Cash passed out in odd places (usually on the couch)- but also on picnic tables...And here is Pierce at his class thanksgiving party. And man was it a PARTY!- he took his role very seriously as you can see.

Cash and Papa

Remember when everyone said Cash and Papa were like twins? Or how he would always go to my dad when he was a baby and run to him as a toddler? Even though his affection has grown a little bit more guarded these two will always have a special bond. And don't worry Dad, I wont tell everyone else that he is your favorite:)

Just scaring Lex- hoping he wont come outside... what a sweetheart.

Mixed Martial Arts

...or we just call it Karate:) The boys love it. They basically have a private lesson every time they go because its so early in the day. go figure- they really enjoy running, jumping, kicking, and punching?... Superheroes watch out! I have two in training right now:)

so serious

I came around the corner to find this the other day. apparently he needed to have his diaper changed- poor Lex- no one around to help so he might as well try...

the usual

They look older in these pictures to me. Way more than in real life- but maybe thats because they are whining or something else that blinds me to just being able to enjoy their sweet faces. these are just for fun...

Love is: eating an apple just because your brother is doing it and trying to bite at exactly the same time..

Soooo innocent...

"Vegetavels"

So we have some neighbors who are indian (not cherokee, from india)- actually both of our neighbors and pretty much our entire street....but anyway; they are super nice and they grow some kind of vegetable that I have never seen before (i call them cumkwats (sp?)) and they tend to grow over our fence alot. My children enjoy this- and I appreciate it because they kind of experience a garden without me actually having to grow one:) I know I should not let them pick so many off- but I just love hearing Pierce say 'look at this vegetavel...its a beauty!' I have stopped correcting him because now its just funny.

Do you think I need to change someone's diaper?
Pierce picking Vegetavels... clearly lex is going to get the hang of it sooner or later..
